Brian and Sharilyn have been partners in life for almost 30 years! Living cross country and overseas along with many travels, they have made their way 'home' and purchased the property in 2013. They both have a passion for using their hands and creating things.

Brian Clowes
Brian Clowes has been involved in metal trades since 1996 and blacksmithing since 2004. He worked 4 years in Alberta with several smiths specializing in architectural ironwork, design and installation. Then 2 years in the UK learning traditional joinery in contemporary designs. In 2018, he established Forty Hills Forge to showcase his own craftmanship
Sharilyn Clowes
Sharilyn has a love of making and will work with anything she can get her hands on! Clay has always been a passion, and in 2021 we created a dedicated space for this. Sharilyn loves the ability to experiment and create! In her spare time she tries to keep the gardens and produce under control while managing the online inquiries and sales.
